News & Views: (Teen Driving)

Teens, Teens, Teens all over the road. Taking over the streets. Taking over the highways. Teen drivers are hitting the streets at an all time high. Have we pushed our teens out on the roads too soon?  Do our teens actually feel comfortable on the roads? Do they have hidden fears that we are unaware of?  Do they keep their fears inside to impress their peers? Are parents really aware of the statistics of teen automobile accidents? Statistics show that a teen is killed every 64 seconds, while another is injured every 55 seconds. Teen drivers have the highest rate for auto accidents. If parents aren't aware of the statistics than how are we preparing our teens mentally to become a defensive driver. Are our teens practicing safe driving skills? At sixteen years of age only one passenger is allowed in the car with each teen that is a driver. Is this still a distraction, since teens seem to be more under pressure while driving with their friends in the car? Teens tend to show out more like blarring music, singing loudly, and drive at a faster speed while driving with friends in the car. In some cases this may not be true but statistics are shown to prove otherwise. Will you be a safe practicing teen driver once you hit the road?

Fashionably Fab:

With summer ending & school starting back up we all want to show a little bit of skin sitting in the classroom. For young ladies sometimes we tend to show a lilttle too much skin.  Wearing a halter top & mini skirt in the summer is lovely but may not always be allowed in the classroom. An off the shoulder top with linen shorts is a better fit for the ladies. For young men the tank top & basketball shorts hanging off your rears is a summer yes but a no go for school. A pair of cargo shorts & a t-shirt is a yes yes for early fall going back to school.
